January 30, 2018 – San Diego, CA

The Value of Reference Architectures is the theme for this week’s Open Group San Diego conference, and Delegata Corporation will hold the morning Plenary Session to discuss Next Generation Enterprise Architecture (EA). As public and private organizations undergo digital transformations, it becomes increasingly imperative to implement global standards and reference models to ensure the development of actionable enterprise architecture. Delegata’s approach to EA team-planning draws from an apprenticeship model and leverages expertise found across industries and experience levels.

Dave Hornford, Delegata’s Chief Architect, leads the company’s EA Center of Excellence. He shares his experiences of achieving world-class architecture by mentoring and training novice architects to complement an EA team. “It is not years of experience that matters most,” he says. “You bring new architects with the right attitude and aptitude to work as a team and they are meticulous about following reference models and doing it right. This is what delivers the most valuable enterprise architecture aligned to client goals. Sharing our success stories about effective EA team development will encourage the growth of best practices in EA.”

In February, Delegata will hold a follow-up training session titled, Uncover the Value of EA for your Organization. It will focus on how organizations can utilize Enterprise Architecture to reach significant milestones in organizational maturity and operational efficiencies. This training session is a free, in-person event that will be open to the public. It will be held at 2450 Venture Oaks Way, in the Diamond Conference Center of Sacramento, California. There will also be a live broadcast available. For more information, please visit the Delegata Facebook page.
