Delegata Mentioned in Sacramento Business Journal Sacramento, CA - March 21, 2008 Sacramento Business Journal correspondent interviewed Delegata’s Marketing/PR Manager, Amira Menoufy, regarding Sacramento businesses supporting the arts. The quote was published on page 20 in the March 21, 2008 issue of the Sacramento Business Journal. Delegata, a Sacramento technology consulting firm and systems integrator, sponsors arts that showcase the mixing of different cultures. It calls the initiative Building Bridges. Delegata is sponsoring the Philharmonic’s Songs of Hope concert in April and the Sacramento World Music & Dance Festival in September, and is a supporter of the annual A Call for Unity concert at the Mondavi Center at the University of California Davis. “We got to a point where we really had to narrow our focus,” said Amira Menoufy, Delegata’s marketing and public relations manager. By creating one initiative for arts and a parallel initiative for education and training activities, called Closing the Gap, the company emphasizes its core values without spreading itself too thin. In most cases, Delegata will buy tickets to a concert and offer them to employees, or offer a steep discount on a package, Menoufy said.
