Making the 2007 SARTA Index

Sacramento, CA - April 9, 2007

For the 4th consecutive year, Delegata was selected by the Sacramento Area Regional Technology Alliance (SARTA) as one of the top 50 high tech companies for the technology index. The SARTA Technology Index monitors the health and status of the region's technology sector. Just as the S&P 500 acts as a bellwether for corporate America, the SARTA Technology Index is a barometer of how technology companies in the greater Sacramento region are performing. SARTA distributed the following press release regarding the index and its latest growth.

The SARTA Tech Index™ experienced strong growth of 14.58% in the fourth quarter of 2006 to raise the Index to an all-time high of 202.47. The increase is the result of growth in market capitalization of local publicly traded companies, in addition to continued momentum in both quarterly revenue (11%) and employment (3.72%) numbers. “This is the second consecutive quarter of positive growth for the Tech Index since its slight drop last year, and bodes well for the continued growth of the Sacramento area technology market,” said Oleg Kaganovich, CEO of SARTA. “Also, while the Tech Index does not reflect acquisitions, I would be remiss in not recognizing the incredible activity in mergers and acquisitions of technology companies in the area. When aggregated, privately-held Tech Index companies earn revenue of over half a billion dollars per year. And potential acquirers are taking notice."

About the SARTA Tech Index™

As part of its mission to foster high tech entrepreneurial growth and attract private investment capital to the greater Sacramento region, SARTA has developed an innovative tool, the SARTA Technology Index™, to monitor the health and status of the region's technology sector. Just as the S&P 500 acts as a bellwether for corporate America, the SARTA Technology Index™ is a barometer of how technology companies in the greater Sacramento region are performing.
Today, there are national and international indices of technology companies, but to our knowledge, this is the first regional index ever to be developed. The Index includes public and private technology companies headquartered in the greater Sacramento region.
The numerical value of the SARTA Technology Index™ is based on a proprietary formula that tracks three financial metrics: revenue, employees and equity capital raised. The Index was set to 100.00 at its initiation and is updated on a quarterly basis.
