Building Bridges II Reception: September 10, 2008

Working towards a future of Collaboration and Peace.

Delegata hosted a reception honoring Elizabeth Rindskopf Parker, Dean of University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, as well as the esteemed Sacramento leaders who traveled to Egypt to participate in the Building Bridges Summit this past March.  Building Bridges was created to provide a platform for cultural exchange, enhanced communications and progressive collaboration between the US and the Middle East in an effort to expand the space for peace.

On Wednesday, September 10, 2008 at The Grand in downtown Sacramento, the delegation shared their inspiring story of their trip overseas.  They gave their own individual accounts of their experiences and group accomplishments and discussed current and potential opportunities.  Many ideas for future international collaborative efforts were shared with the attendees.

Delegata believes that as leaders in this community, it is our responsibility to help future generations by participating in progressive efforts to achieve peaceful relations and collaboration.
