is a unique concert based on the premise that music can build bridges and create understanding between people of different backgrounds.

Music is a universal language promoting dialogue, harmony and cultural understanding.

As the lead sponsor, Delegata is proud to present Songs of Hope. For the first time in the United States, internationally-celebrated musicians from Israel, Egypt, and Palestine are traveling to perform with the Sacramento Philharmonic. This musical masterpiece is modeled after the UNESCO Peace Orchestra formed in 2002. Songs of Hope is a beautiful showcase based on the premise that music can Build Bridges and create understanding between people of different backgrounds.

Schulhoff : Lustige Overture fuer Orchester, op. 8, "Joyous Overture" (1913)
Schulhoff lost his life in the horror of a WWII concentration camp. Today, we celebrate his wonderfully joyous music.

A favorite from the Romantic period, a nod to our classical roots.

Serene and affirmative, this work inspires audiences to a new level of hope for mankind. The last words of the Psalms, sung in Hebrew, are a heartfelt plea for peace in turbulent times:
"Behold how good and pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity."
