MLK Celebration

			The Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration is an event that commemorates the principles of freedom, unity, and diversity that highlighted the life of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Below you will find Delegata sponsorship ADs by year, which were printed in the event program. The mission of the MLK Celebration is to pass on the teachings of Dr. King to the next generation. His goals of unity and tolerance have yet to be fully realized and we look to future generations to help fulfill his dream.

To that end, the MLK Celebration hosts a group of about 100 local students as their guests. The students are there to learn more about Dr. King and to represent the next generation of leaders.

In addition to having the youth attend the dinner, a few of them are selected to receive scholarships from Delegata to further their education. These scholarships are given to students who are between the ages of 15 and 19, have a demonstrated interest and commitment to serving their community and are in good academic standing.
